StockWhether (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) is operated by its creator. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the StockWhether mobile app and related services hosted at stockwhether.netlify.app.
The app may store the following locally on your iPhone (AsyncStorage / on-device storage):

If you enable notifications on iOS, the app registers with our backend (Netlify) so we can send push alerts when the app is closed. We may store:
This data is stored in Netlify Blob storage and is used solely to evaluate Top 10 / Bottom 10 opportunity conditions for your watchlist and to send the alerts you have enabled. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
If you use the in-app assistant, your messages and relevant app context (such as watchlist symbols, ranks, and chart summaries you are viewing) may be sent to our server function and processed by a third-party AI provider to generate a reply. Do not enter sensitive personal information in the assistant. Assistant conversations are not intended for long-term storage by us, but messages may be processed transiently by our hosting and AI providers.
To show prices, charts, and ranks, the app and our servers may request data from third parties, including:
Those providers receive only the information needed to fulfill requests (for example, a stock ticker symbol). Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
StockWhether is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
On-device data remains until you delete the app or clear app data. Server-side push registration data persists until you disable notifications, stop syncing, or request deletion. Daily “already notified” records on the server reset per trading day.
To request deletion of server-stored push registration data, email us at stockwhether@gmail.com with your subscriber ID if available (shown in debug/support correspondence).
We use industry-standard HTTPS for network communication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
